The Tribe grew from a group of friends and students. We share information, meet up for events and get notification of last-minute deals. We can also have our chat, comments, tips and suggestions shared on this website.

If you want any of these opportunities please tell us here  by email.

From Gary: I can't remember how many certificates went out over the Summer. We have had just over a thousand people learning 'What to do in the middle of nowhere - with nothing.' and it's been amazing how much every last student took in. Well done everyone!

From Gary: Training session for potential instructors at Assynt this year. Seafood excellent, weapons training fun but the deer were too friendly to stalk 'come and meet my faun' is not the attitude we expect from an animal that's supposed to be hunted... Well done everyone for learning Atl-Atl and Woomera techniques so fast.

From: Gary. New individual training for those of you who don't have a     group. Go to Home Page and click 'individual'

From: Aiden. Golden eagles at Drumlanrig! I was collecting twigs for a basket and the eagles were only 30m away. Thought I was seeing things till one of the rangers confirmed it.

From: Tina. The basic bow checked in at 137 fps; the advanced 151 fps. I prefer the  basic  one, it's easier to aim!

From: Mark and family. We tested the throw net in our pond. It was very effective but Sam fell in... Thanks for the weekend. It was going back to modern life that was a shock!

From: Aiden. Got some new roasting recipes for you. How does slowly roasted venison in raspberries sound? Didn't use wild garlic except to wrap it in leaves.

From: Nick. I'm up for filming anytime. We think some video on this site would be a good idea. I'll give you a ring when I'm back in the UK. Incidentally I think I saw someone in Oxford  St wearing Palaeoquest skill tokens - didn't realise you'd gone high fashion. Couldn't stop to talk to her though.

From: Chuck. Would it be possible for the whole class to join the tribe? It would be great to have someone who could answer all the questions! All the things we made are on the wall with the photo's.

From: Ally. We've turned half our vegetable garden and are going to let it go wild. We'll tell you what the food weight; wild vs planted, is next year.

From: Gary. Dear Mrs Marshall. If your pupils really want to do hand signatures give them a mothfull of raspberries rather than paint! If they accidentally swallow at least you've got a portion of veg into them.

From: Sally Wood. Hey! you booked the Christmas period as 'not available'. I was just wondering who wanted a Christmas camp. Next year pleeease. And promise it will snow.

From: Sharon. Thank you so much for providing a fantastic          experience, You definitely have something great to offer.

From: Kristy. Got my first level training certificate today, YAY! - but I still smell of smoke...

From: Gary. We are going to need more instructors soon. Contact me if you are interested.
